Education/Training - Seattle, WA, US
Computing Kids is an educational enrichment program for children in grades K-8 in the greater Seattle area. We partner with schools, community groups, and parents to bring computer science to students in an engaging, hands-on setting. We believe all students should be given the opportunity to learn how to use technology in innovative ways and become confident with learning computer programming. Students are frequently discouraged about computing by factors that make the subject seem dull or mystifying. We create fun, adventurous, and collaborative environments that makes learning computer science accessible to all students. Our goal is to help build a generation of students who are passionate about technology and are excited about using the power of computers to solve problems and better their communities.
