Founded in 2002, Comrade Software developed applications and games for web and mobile platforms, and was reorganized in 2011 as Qubop, Inc. (http://qubop.com) to focus entirely on mobile software. With backgrounds in several technology startups, Comrade principals shipped in-house and client apps to both the iTunes App Store and the Android Marketplace. Our mobile experience predated the smartphone era, and included on-deck content for Verizon Wireless and Softbank Japan. Based in San Francisco, Comrade served clients and agencies in the US, Europe, Australia and Japan. Client work included Dictionary.com, Nielsen Online, Sun Microsystems, Benchmark Capital, Seattle Sound Transit, the Dallas Federal Reserve, Blue Shield of California, Lowe's Home Improvement and Ask.com.
