COMTEM™ designs and manufactures the STERIFLASH™ line of machines: a breakthrough solution for Hazardous Health Care Waste (HHCW) on-site treatment worldwide. STERIFLASH™ The on-site medical waste treatment solution: The qualitative advantages of the STERIFLASH™ machines (environmental, public and users safety, as well as risk reduction for public healthcare, among the most relevant ones) represent by themselves a breakthrough advance against alternative systems, but on top of those, the quantitative advantages of the system (economic, due to a significant cost reduction of the overall process) enhances the strengths of the solution as a successful market proposal, for both emerging economies as well as developed countries. STERIFLASH™ machinery uses a thermal process (steam) which replaces the inadequate incineration normally used as a solution to remove HHCW. STERIFLASH™ technology first shreds HHCW reducing its volume and then treats the waste through a controlled Temperature and Pressure cycle with saturated steam, hence gaining efficiency. Thus the HHCW are processed at the nearest possible site where are generated, with a very environmentally friendly, healthcare-risk reducing and economically efficient method
