CONCEPT Continuing and Professional Studies at Palo Alto University offers online professional training to thousands of mental health, correctional, and law enforcement professionals around the world. Our training programs are developed and delivered by the field's leading researchers, scholars, and practitioners, and incorporate the latest evidence-based information and best practices to earn board-sponsored continuing education credits (CEs/CPD). We provide training and consultation to individuals and groups from 5 to 500. We also conduct ongoing research on our training programs, including evaluation of short- and long-term training outcomes, instructional design elements, and online pedagogy. Our convenient programs offer the flexibility of self-paced or group training options to increase your knowledge, skillset, and expertise to elevate your level of practice. CONCEPT was founded in 2009 by Dr. Patricia Zapf and was acquired by Palo Alto University in 2018 to become the Continuing & Professional Studies Division of the University.
