Coney Island Hot Weiners has been pleasing the public for over 9 decades. Greek immigrant, Christ Economou, began his Coney Island concept after landing on Ellis Island. He took this unique concept across the country following the railroad tracks down the east coast. Christ opened coney stores along the way then selling them to other Greek immigrants providing them with a means to make a living. Christ Economou introduced his Coney Island Hot Weiners concept to Tulsa in 1926. His legacy continues to be a vibrant part of the downtown Tulsa dining scene today.
