We spent 20 years organizing conferences and other events and became frustrated with the conference process. Finding a conference hasn't changed in 20 years - you still rely on Google, referrals in your network, and reviewing where your competitors are going. Promoting your own conference or webinar is just as challenging. Conference organizers use email marketing and social media to promote their onsite and virtual events, and there's very little network effect from one event to the next. Conference sponsors have very little data compared to digital marketing, and the ROI is therefore challenging to calculate. Speakers often spend hours preparing and they usually don't know what their impact is on the audience. There's a lack of feedback and transparency for all constituents. Conferences is one of the last areas of marketing that has not been disrupted by technology yet... WE WILL CHANGE THAT.
