Confucius Institute Maastricht (CIM) was co-established by Zuyd University of Applied Sciences and Dalian Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) in the beautiful and historical city of Maastricht on the 7th July 2017. With the support we received from the Province of Limburg and the Municipality of Maastricht, CIM opens to everybody in our neighbourhood who is interested in Chinese language and culture. CIM is a knowledge institute offering the expertise to assist you not only on learning the Chinese language and culture but also on experiencing international business, communication and cooperation from linguistic and intercultural perspectives. As the only CI established in an applied sciences university in the Netherlands, CIM fully embraces the "zwaartepunt": the practice-based of applied science education and Dalian Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, who is one of the leading university in applied economics, business administration and finance. In 2017, DUFE was selected for the 2017 Global CEO's School Ranking( 61st of 100 globally) by "Times Higher Education Alma Mater Index (Global Executives) 2017".We have one core teaching team consisting of 2 senior lecturers specialized in HSK, 1 sinologist, 2 language (Dutch-speaking) assistant teachers and 6 certificated HSK examiners.
