Founded as a buying cooperative in 1988, Connect2One (C2O), collegiate retailing's largest general merchandise buying group, is dedicated to the goal of helping college stores stay independent and compete in today's marketplace. The National Association of College Stores (NACS) acquired C2O in 2013. In February, 2016, NACS announced the merger of two of its operations, Connect2One and NACSCORP, a wholesale course materials distributor, to create a comprehensive purchasing solution for institutional and independent campus stores.
