The Connecticut Fair Housing Center is a statewide nonprofit civil rights organization working to ensure that all people have equal access to housing opportunities in Connecticut, free from discrimination.The Center investigates housing discrimination claims and can provide no-cost legal assistance and representation to the victims of housing discrimination. We also provide free legal assistance to homeowners facing foreclosure or unfair lending/mortgage servicing practices. In addition, we offer free foreclosure prevention clinics, trainings on the fair housing laws for residents, housing professionals, social service providers and others. We also publish several free guides and manuals to help Connecticut residents learn about their fair housing rights, their housing options, and preventing home foreclosure.
