Connecting Dreams Foundation (CDF) - Bharati College is a non profit organization driven by the students of Bharati College, University of Delhi which aims at social entrepreneurship and thus provides various opportunities to the youth to improve the livelihood of the people by converting their dreams into reality by working along the lines of the 17 SDGs laid down by the UN. CDF encourages young minds with their ideas to develop community outreach projects that results in an holistic upliftment of the marginalized section of the society.Mission : CDF Bharati Chapter's ultimate motive is to bring forth education and social entrepreneurialism to as many unprivileged students and people as we can. Currently CDF, Bharati is working on 2 Major Projects: 1. Project Sambhav - The project aims to bridge the gap between the streets and schools by connecting unprivileged children to their basic right i.e education. The team of CDF Bharati have been dispensing education and development skills to the enthusiastic young minds from areas of West and South-west Delhi by connecting with them virtually. We believe that Education is just not preparation of life; education is life itself. 2. Project HEAL - With an aim to normalise mental health problems. CDF Bharati have been spreading the importance of mental health by conducting one-on-one counselling sessions with the individuals who wanted to express their heart out and desired a temporary refuge from life. CDF Bharati regards that Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, especially in this pandemic phase.
