After teaching remedial math to middle and high school students, it became obvious that many students don't "get" math. They never learned the basics such as their "times tables", negatives, place value, fractions, and the "distributive property". I figured that students were plenty smart enough to learn these things and that they could even learn the basics back in Kindergarten. With the goal to teach algebra, the skills appropriate to each grade level are being implemented through the use of games. This is a site that is building integrated math curriculum, currently finishing up Kindergarten and soon to start with first grade. It will eventually lead to algebra.
