In June 2010 the San Francisco-Shanghai Sister City Committee, will travel to Shanghai with the express purpose of celebrating our 30th anniversary of friendship with Shanghai through the presentation of "San Francisco Week in Shanghai at the International Expo."Mission:From June 17 to June 25th 2010, San Francisco Week in Shanghai at the International Expo will seek to bring the very best and the very brightest that San Francisco has to offer to the city of Shanghai.The week will be divided into two major components: a sustainable and renewable energy expo, which highlights the emerging strength of the San Francisco Bay Area and our pioneering efforts that has lead us being the cradle of the sustainable/renewable energy market and a performance art component, which will present San Francisco's unique artistic strength and its diversity within the performance art community.The San Franciso-Shanghai Sister City Committee (SFSSCC) in its 30th anniversary is a goodwill organization with more than 200 cultural, business and governmental exchanges between San Francisco and Shanghai.
