Conversations On the Green (COG), brings nationally recognized voices and artists to the pine-crowned Litchfield hills, supporting a mission to educate (and invigorate) the community through discussion of the country's most provocative issues and ideas. COGs are interactive, Town Hall style forums allowing both the speakers and the audience to share experiences, perspectives and insights in an effort to build an ongoing conversation that strengthens community bonds. Proceeds from each conversation are donated to our beneficiaries, local charities working with the most vulnerable residents of our county. Our Conversations are crafted with an intent towards attracting a diverse audience, offering education through discourse, creating curiosity, and subsequent action within our community and beyond.
