CONVEX (Collective Observations in or near Vortices Experiment) is a collaborative group of amateurs who gather scientific data, such as barometric pressure and wind speeds, associated with severe thunderstorms. CONVEX currently has three probes that get placed in the path of tornadoes so various metrics can be measured to better understand tornadoes.
