Katie Cool is the owner of Cool Designs for Landscapes, an exterior design firm started in 2005, specializing in developing innovative conceptual landscape designs from Mediterranean to Contemporary to Retro 1960's. She enjoys working with homeowners who appreciate good design and love to garden. Since gardens are forever evolving, it's essential to have a solid design structure to steady the whims of growing plants. At the heart of her design philosophy is a first class commitment to service and quality designs. A background in art influences her designs and keeps her perspective fresh when designing gardens that are friendly to our Southern California environment. She is a certified Ornamental Horticulturist, member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD) and a founding member and past president of the Orange County Landscape Design Network (OCLDN). She also holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts.
