Coombes + Gabbie is a family business that has been in the lighting industry since 1963. Originally established as Hamilton Lighthouse by Roland Coombes, C+G is now directed by son Richard Coombes. Our Warehouse, Showroom, and Design Studio are based in Hamilton/Kirikiriroa, servicing the whole of New Zealand.Here at C+G we are the agents for some of the world's leading lighting brands, representing a number of these brands exclusively. Not only do we import, but we also represent local designers and suppliers in Aotearoa. We are proud of the brands we represent and have a close relationship with our suppliers.The C+G Design Studio specializes in lighting design for residential and commercial projects throughout New Zealand and beyond. We are a small, passionate, and knowledgeable design team who understand the role lighting plays in architecture and interior design. Due to the size of our team, we are able to provide close attention to detail and care throughout our projects.Our design team is made up of Director, Richard Coombes, Senior Lighting Designer, Renee Beale, and Lighting Designers, Nitha David and Natalie Iva. Andrea Clarkin is in charge of our accounts and administration, she's the glue that holds us all together!At our Te Rapa Warehouse we have Accounts Manager, Tyrell Priddy (soon to be in our King St Design Studio and Showroom) who is training our new Logistics and Warehouse Manager, Jamie Brewer. Robbie Lithgow is our Linear Light Manufacturer and Delivery Driver also at our Te Rapa Warehouse where he spends his days soldering, cutting and packing up projects – Robbie is an expert at measuring twice and cutting once.
