We're an all-breed nonprofit dog rescue based in the San Francisco Bay Area, rescuing pups from high-kill shelters and finding them loving homes. To date we've adopted out over 1,300 dogs. Our mission is a lofty one - to end the euthanasia of adoptable dogs in the United States through increasing public awareness, taking legal action that will benefit shelter animals, and by rescuing dogs scheduled for euthanasia and placing them in permanent and loving homes. As a foster-based rescue, we rely on the generosity and good will of volunteers to house our rescued dogs until they find adoptive homes.
