Restaurants - Los Angeles, California, United States
With corporate chef Joseph Gillard at the helm, Coral Tree Café is an American kitchen that offers healthy, sustainable food and organic coffee and tea options in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Since opening in 2002, Coral Tree Café's locations have expanded to Beverly Hills, Brentwood, and Encino, each one featuring a welcoming environment with indoor and outdoor seating, designed by William Emmerson. The name stems from the beautiful, historic coral trees lining San Vicente Blvd at its first location in Brentwood, planted in place of the red car line in the 1940s, which have since become a Los Angeles monument. The café is committed to providing casual Californian cuisine, using fine dining technique and sustainable, locally sourced ingredients. Coral Tree Café mantra is "made with love," and behind this commitment to quality, the café features a contemporary menu with healthy options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, including vegan and gluten-free friendly options, as well as baked goods from LA's premier wholesale bakery, Breadbar. The beverage menu features organic coffee and teas, freshly squeezed juices, wine, and beer. The Brentwood and Encino locations are recognized as 2-Star Certified Green Restaurants® by the Green Restaurant Association, committed to the environment, their customers' health, and fair-trade practices. Coral Tree Café is also an avid supporter of the community, whether it is donating to local schools and charitable organizations or acting as a sponsor of the Lynne Cohen Foundation.
