We are Caleb and Tara Johansen. We are photographers and filmmakers. We spend our lives chasing light and the thrill that comes with attempting to communicate the beauty we encounter when we create images with our couples. We are artists exploring our favorite subject: you. and this funny little thing called love.We approach image-making in the most honest way that we can. We don't want to craft some story that isn't yours. We want to document and accentuate the perfect romance that is already revealing itself right in front of us. "Storyteller" is a term that gets thrown around a lot in our industry, but what we do is more about finding and curating the story that's already there. We seek out those genuine moments of connection, beauty, and interaction and do our best to capture them in the most stunning way we can.It's still baffling to us how our job grants us this window into some of the most important and intimate moments of people's lives. We feel blessed and honored that our couples give us the opportunity to create the images that will last them a lifetime. Images that begin the family photo album that keeps on growing, or the wedding film that can transport a long married couple back to the moment it all began.We find you to be quite inspiring.
