Coronea Pty Ltd is a privately held real estate investment company with a 230 acre residential land holding on the banks of Tasmania, Australia's largest fresh water river, the "South Esk River".The company is named after the 250 acres its retains and occupies of the 1,000 rural property called "Coronea" which was originally granted to Australian colonisers Mr and Mrs Alexander and Francis Clarke in 1829. After the Clarke's arrived in Tasmania they would then go to the surveyor's office and receive advice on which land was open for settlement. The settlers would then ride out to the land on a horse and choose the land they liked, before returning to Hobart or Launceston) and registering their claim.
