Cortex Glass develops and sells Hot-End Inspection, Process Monitoring and Process Control systems for the perfume, cosmetics, container and table ware glass industry. Our innovative GobWatch system monitors the complete gob forming process, automatically controls the gob weight, inspects every gob for inclusions (seeds, bubbles, stones, cords) and rejects glass products made from gobs with bubbles, stones and other gob defects directly after the IS-machine. The TopWatch system provides information (x, y, rotation) about the position of glass products on the conveyor directly after the IS-machine. The TopWatch also rejects stuck and fallen ware. The new ISWatch system (available second half 2015) uses one or more infrared cameras to create images of hot bottles leaving the IS-machine.
