Cosima was established in January 1990. I want to make the company and it's products a success. From the start in 1990 the company offered a new generation of software development tools and grabbed customers like Norsk Hydro, Statoil, Aker (+Kværner), Ministry of Defence, Tandberg, NVE.... We succeed in competing with Oracle, Sybase, Microsoft and the applications we made are still in full production. Then from 2000 we made a shift in strategy to become a software house. With 4-5 pilots we made Cosima ValueChain as a complete business suite as an ERP package, but based on the latest technology and the concepts of value chains from Michael Porter. We now work on a detail specification of our Value Chain approach together with known reasearch institutes like BI and Sintef and the goal is to define a formula enabling an easy method of collecting any businesses value chains. We also make a decision after this project if and how we can apply for a patent on our formula.Specialties: Improve our clients productivity by support of their existing activities, all defined into our value chain approach.
