C21L is a collaborative group of educators dedicated to supporting 21st century learning and learning organizations. Toward that end, C21L engages in these activities:AUDITS.For many organizations, this is a critical first step to developing a comprehensive approach to 21st century learning. C21L identifies each organization's assets, barriers, and current promising practices. Based on the findings, C21L makes recommendations that enable districts to invest strategically in their learning organization.BUILDING LEARNING COMMUNITIES.Learning is a social activity. We help educators connect with colleagues, learn from each other, and collaborate to build a 21st century learning community. C21L hosts conferences, facilitates WorkingShops professional development sessions, maintains a wiki on "how to" do 21st century learning, supports and evaluates professional learning, and helps organizations plan for and implement strategies that promote student acquisition of 21st century skills.CREATING TOOLS FOR EDUCATORS.From classroom observation and self-assessment tools to video clips of promising classroom practices, C21L works to make the vision of 21st century learning a reality in Colorado and beyond.A nonprofit organization, C21L is Colorado's professional development affiliate of the Partnership for 21st Century Skills – the leading national advocacy organization focused on infusing 21st century skills into education.
