Construction - Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Count Me In is an alcohol culture change initiative supported by VicHealth (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) and a range of industry partners that will support positive change in the drinking habits of middle-aged men within the Victorian construction industry. Count Me In is a health and safety initiative that seeks to create positive workplace cultures that go beyond Zero Harm in the building and construction industry. The aim of Count Me In is to impact and transform the lives of workers that it engages with, and the families and communities within which they live. The RDO Challenge launched in 2018 as a part of Count Me In's alcohol culture change initiative aims to reducing the instances of risky drinking by having participants review how much they currently drink and then over a one month period pledge to take as many ROD's or rostered rinks off as they can. " If you want to be one of the boys and not get a hard time you join in [and drink]."
