discover a new concept of dining. join chef sam hart at counter- for a full sensory encounter like no other. we offer a reservation only, themed 10 course tasting menu with a choice of non-alcoholic, standard or reserve wine pairings. we welcome all dietary restrictions and allergies, and tailor the menus around them. at counter- guests will enjoy an experience that immerses you into stories rich with flavor and paired with sound. counter-cultural: opposed to the norms of the restaurant industry, promoting diversity and unveiling narratives which have been hidden. counter-intuitive: contrary to the common-sense expectation of service, but nevertheless true. submerging our guests with visuals, sounds, and feelings along with taste. counter-balanced: designed to showcase the produce and proteins from the land around us, rather than perpetuate the unstable alternative. located in charlotte, north carolina, in the wesley heights area just minutes from uptown.post covid-19 we have medical grade air purifiers and our staff will be wearing PPE. we will be observing limited seating for the near term. we ask anyone who may not be feeling well to not come to their reservation and contact us about rescheduling. we reserve the right to refuse service to guests whom may appear to be unwell.
