CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) of Baltimore program is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization committed to serving abused and neglected children by representing them in the Baltimore City court system and advocating for their best interest in the judicial, educational, medical, and social service communities.CASA'S UNIQUE SERVICESCASA Baltimore provides a unique service to victimized children in Baltimore City.• The CASA volunteer presents facts and recommendations that are in the child's best interest. • The CASA volunteer provides the court with an objective and comprehensive report of the child and family situation throughout the court process.• The CASA volunteer gives individual attention to his/her assigned child that puts the child at an advantage in the overwhelmed court system.• Community volunteers, as Court Appointed Special Advocates, improve the lives of children in their community.
