Nonprofit Organization Management - New Delhi, Delhi, India
Through our initiative, our team of 70+ volunteers collected and verified information about Oxygen Supplies, COVID Beds, Testing Facilities, Home-Care Services, Sanitization Services for COVID affected families in the one of worst affected countries, India, during the peak of second wave. Our volunteers worked round to clock to maintain the availability status of over 2000 services providers and served over 150+ families. We connected patients to doctors and coordinated with frontline workers to assist patients during emergencies. We ran a plasma donation initiative and connected plasma donors to plasma recipients. Additionally, we hosted an informative session to share insights on 'Decision Making during an adversity' with a panel of emergency professionals (doctors) and representatives of various volunteer groups to help family members and COVID affected families. Our initiative was also covered by Mashable, an international social good digital media platform and news website - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WFZG__KrDo
