We are a community owned and operated organization dedicated to the local production, use and promotion of bio-fuels in order to achieve ethical and environmentally sustainable local economy.The Cowichan Bio-Diesel Co-operative (CB-DC) has been supplying 100% bio-diesel made from recycled cooking oil to all its members as a petro-diesel alternative since 2005. Our Guiding Principles:- Ethically produce and distribute sustainable fuel alternatives- Provide a community source for recycling local supplies of waste vegetable oil- Stimulate local economic activity by producing bio-diesel and supplying it at a reasonable and justifiable price- Ensure a stable, high-quality and local fuel supply- Share information about community-based bio-fuels to the wider community- Provide a strong voice for sustainable fuel production and use
