CPCTY ("Capacity") was founded in 2013 by John Harper after nine years of experience in the live entertainment business. Harper spent time with Live Nation, AEG Live, Concert Productions International (CPI), S2BN Entertainment, and others, working on projects as diverse as the Rolling Stones' A Bigger Bang World Tour, Yo Gabba Gabba! Live!, folk-legend Pete Seeger's 90th Birthday Concert & DVD from Madison Square Garden, and Blackout, an interactive performance-art piece that the New York Times called "the extreme theater event of the year."CPCTY collaborates with other companies as their planning and execution partner to take special events and concert tours from the ideation phase through completion and project wrap-up.In the short time since its founding, CPCTY has had a hand in producing several special events and tours including Shark Attack Sounds Montauk 2013, MADE Fashion Week 2013 Opening Party at Milk Studios, MADE Fashion Week 2013 Dance Party in Bushwick, Rick Ross Mastermind Tour 2013, Blackout 2013 in New York and Los Angeles, and A Very Awesome Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! Holiday Show.
