CQS is a credit-specialist asset manager, with responsible multi strategy credit at the heart of our business. Founded in 1999, we place an emphasis on building long term partnerships and delivering outcome led solutions with high levels of service to our institutional investors, including DB & DC pension schemes, UK LGPS, private banks, wealth managers and insurance companies. Our core capabilities span multi asset credit, high yield and investment grade corporate credit, senior secured loans, private markets, asset backed securities, convertible bonds, and CLOs. Our culture focuses on a boutique-style of investment management within an institutional framework and we pride ourselves on being nimble and market leading in our areas of expertise. Our approach to sustainability and responsible credit investing go hand in hand. Our market experience, flexibility and fundamentally driven investment process enables us to actively engage with issuers with whom we lend in order to drive sustainable practices and long-term ESG improvement. Our mantra is simple: lend to good businesses, through best in class fundamental research and allocate to the right asset classes, geographies, sectors and companies at the right time, doing so responsibly. CQS is a signatory to the Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative, PRI, supports the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures and is a signatory to the UK Stewardship Code 2021.
