The Crazy8s Film Society produces the annual Crazy8s Film Event - Vancouver's premier short film event. Each year filmmakers are invited to pitch their short film ideas to a jury of film professionals. 6 are chosen. The 6 winning teams receive $1000 and a production package including everything they need to make their short films in just 8 days. The finished films are screened at a Gala Screening to the who's who of the Vancouver film industry at the Centre with an After Party at Science World.
