A web portal and platform for communication between the corporate design world and the non-professional designer.The main focus of the site will be a collection of competition briefs compiled and posted by participatingcreative agencies. Spanning a variety of disciplines and industry sectors, students will have the opportunityto work on real-world style projects set by a professional to industry standards. Each agency will specifya set time scale and a list of deliverables necessary to fulfil the brief, with a download pack of additionalmaterial and relevant assets. After the project deadline the entries will be critiqued by the agency, withthe top ten submissions uploaded to the site showcase. The winning candidates work will be posted withthe professional's feedback and information about the competition prize. These could range from agencymemorabilia or cash prize, through to portfolio critiquing session or a paid internship.We would also like to generate a resource for students containing practical guidance, facts and a realinsight into industry life. Advice on industry fundamentals such as company structures, collaboration andhow to react to change at a fast pace which often can be overlooked in an academic environment will aidin moulding students into indispensible agency assets.
