When we launched Crestview Doors in 2007, we were the only company to offer authentic mid-century modern doors for 50's ranch homes, modern bungalows, original Eichlers, and Eames-style houses. You see, we embarked on the remodel of our own 1951 home in 2006, but we couldn't find a period-appropriate front door to compliment the original mid-century architecture. My husband, David, measured a door on an atomic ranch house one street over on Pasadena Ave. -- a simple, modern door with three square windows running right down the middle. We decided to make a replica. What we thought would be a fun little side business turned into a bustling startup. During 2008, we shipped more than 500 doors and entry systems across the United States. Eventually, we took our research and expertise and branched out into an array of new products including Redi-Screens®. Many companies have tried to knock-off our products, but no one has been able to duplicate our attention to period details, our commitment to quality, and our unparalleled customer service.
