CRF Development, LLC is a real estate development and consulting company focusing primarily on the development and preservation of quality affordable housing as well as market rate multi-family property. CRF Development offers a variety of services for our clients and partners. Our expertise includes the development of new projects, acquisition and/or rehabilitation and refinancing of existing properties, advisory and consulting services, as well as insights on the industry and its related organizations. We have extensive experience using city, state, and federal programs for funding mixed‐income as well as mixed‐use housing projects. Our partners include some of the best and most experienced architects, engineers, and contractors in the areas that we serve. Furthermore, we have an extensive set of contacts in the financing arena consisting of investment banks and national syndicators as well as other financing institutions. Furthermore, CRF Development, LCC has strong relationships with housing agencies across the country as we realize how important developing partnerships within the agencies are to advancing projects and garnering community and municipal support, particularly for affordable housing development. As such, we are well disciplined in selecting proposals and ensuring that each project is financed appropriately. The company was founded in 2011 by Chris French. Prior to founding CRF Development, Mr. French was an asset manager, underwriter and banker for approximately ten years first at Centerline Capital and then Citi Community Capital, the community development division of Citigroup.Mr. French has structured and/or underwritten well in excess of $1 billion in multifamily, hospitality and senior care/assisted living financing in projects across the nation with a particular focus on the northeast region.
