Nonprofit Organization Management - Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia
Founded in 1996, Crime Stoppers Northern Territory is a not-for-profit community organisation that works with police, the media and the public to solve, reduce and prevent crime. The program, which is governed by a volunteer Board of Territorians, also delivers a range of awareness and crime prevention initiatives that include property and personal safety, vehicle theft, and cyber safety. Crime Stoppers NT encourages people to be alert and engaged participants in their community and provides a secure way for people to share information about unsolved crime and suspicious activity through a toll-free hotline and a website without having to say who they are.
