Croma-Pharma GmbH is a globally operating, family-owned Austrian company situated in Leobendorf in Lower Austria. It was founded in 1976 by pharmacist couple Karin and Gerhard Prinz and has specialized in the industrial production of hyaluronic acid medical devices. Croma is proud of being among the leading European experts in this field and of being one of the most successful pharmaceutical companies in Austria.Following the sale of the ophthalmic as well as the orthopaedic product portfolios in 2014, Croma decided to focus on extending and further optimizing its own brands in the field of minimally invasive aesthetic medicine, which represents one of the growth sectors of modern medicine. The company has dedicated itself to offering a complete product portfolio to medical professionals, the centerpiece of which constitute the hyaluronic acid fillers. To support this goal, the company has put up a new state-of-the-art headquarters in Leobendorf in 2017 which accommodates one of the most technologically advanced hyaluronic acid filling-lines in the world as well as more than 6000m2 of office space. The company currently employs more than 500 people in Brazil, Germany, UK, Italy, France,, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Switzerland, Spain and of course Austria.
