CroMiDo Association Details
CroMiDo is a non-profit organisation that challenges traditional donation methods by donating directly to an individual based on mutual trust. Trust derived from the opinion of the local community and a comprehensive algorithm that provides measures against fraud and unequal distribution of donated funds. CroMiDo does this by allowing the local communities to rank people according to their needs simply by using a mobile phone. This unique approach is the main reason why CROMIDO won the prestigious 2012 I WILL award from The Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University; out of over 80 business plan submissions.
