Agriculture - York, North York, UK
CHAP is one of the four UK Agri-Tech Centres of Innovation, established in 2016 as part of the Government's agri-tech strategy. It is an independent catalyst for change, bringing together researchers, industry, and government stakeholders to accelerate the identification, development, and adoption of innovative agri-tech solutions in crops. Using £18 million of capital investment, CHAP and its national network of partners have built 15 facilities in 10 centres of excellence and have established collaborative and delivery frameworks to assist our efforts to improve our ability to produce crops with better resilience and sustainability, while protecting the environment in the UK and beyond. CHAP is a not-for-profit company that receives funding from Innovate UK.
