Ongoing digitalization is defining daily life in all areas and also offers new possibilities for society to participate in innovation processes, for example via crowd-based methods such as crowdsourcing and crowdfunding. These options offer companies and organizations the opportunity to include specific target groups in the conception and – if necessary – also in the financing of their products and services as an active crowd at an early stage. This allows innovation processes to be targeted more directly at the individual needs of the users leading to a better adoption and finally to a reduction of innovation risks. Our mission is to expose companies, research institutes and further organizations to the potentials of crowdsourcing and crowdfunding. We thereby enable them to apply these instruments, e.g. via our crowdsourcing offering »technology meets application« or experience with accompanying successful crowdfunding campaigns in the field of science, regional development and sport. In addition, we develop individual strategies for our partners to optimize the implementation of crowdsourcing and crowdfunding solutions into existing organizational structures.
