Crowdmatrix is a Canadian equity crowdfinancing platform, connecting companies seeking private capital with accredited investors. Our platform facilitates the syndication of private placements, allowing companies to efficiently raise financing from multiple sophisticated investors who leverage the expertise and diligence of professional investors in making their investment decisions. Our seed funding was provided by Extreme Venture Partners, one of Canada's most active early stage investors. Through EVP and other venture capital and angel investor partners, we expect to have unmatched deal flow. We will be licensed as a registered dealer with the securities authorities in Canada and are building a robust database of accredited investors. Our focus is on building a software company, not an investment bank, and in doing so we hope to bring efficiency and transparency to the fundraising process for early stage Canadian companies.
