Crowdstory is a location-based storytelling application. More specifically, it is an iPhone application that allows users to tag audio snippets to specific locations. For example, this could mean simply telling funny stories as they occur and tethering them to the place where the story occurred. Similarly, one could easily share experiences with friends by describing what happened at a restaurant, sporting event, or night on the town. The Crowdstory app could also be used as a platform for business advertising, personal memos, audio tours, or a number of different applications. Essentially, Crowdstory is bringing the human element of voice back into social networking.
