They are written by an army of PhDs known as Congressional Research Services (CRS) which functions within the US Library of Congress (LOC). Their mission is to inform and serve Congress. CRS is an invaluable resources for Members of Congress and their staff who, while experts in their own fields, may not be extensively informed on every topic of Congressional interest. At CRSReports.com we are able to host these documents by casting a wide net into the public web, creating relevant metadata, then culling and deduplicating CRS documents. Over 30,000 CRS documents as of Oct 1st 2015 are available on our site.
