I run this small design studio by myself, spending my time working on things that interest me – and almost everything interests me. I don't like to think of myself as any sort of artist, but I'm not an engineer either. I like to say that I'm a purposeful designer.I specialize in designing hard goods for leading companies in the outdoor-sports and motorsports industries. SolidWorks is an integral part of my design process. Exploring ideas in a virtual 3D environment helps me visualize possibilities, solve problems, and communicate with clients.I am a capable builder and fabricator. I have worked as a machinist and a metal fabricator. A large portion of my life has been spent in workshops and garages working on various projects. This hands-on experience has proven to be a useful skill throughout the prototyping and testing phases of projects.I spent ten years running a graphic design studio specializing in motorsports and outdoor industry marketing. After a decade of the same thing, my interests have led me to focus on more tangible design projects. These days, I reserve marketing and graphic design services for existing clients.
