This website presents a computational model of the Space Shuttle Main Engine (SSME). It contains thermodynamic equations of state for cryogenic hydrogen and oxygen. These equations feed into a combustion model that predicts the flame temperature and equilibrium mole fractions of the resulting gas produced in the SSME pre-burners and main combustion chamber. The model culminates with a coupled heat transfer analysis of the SSME regenerative cooling circuit.
