CSD Scotland Ltd is a Non-Destructive Testing and Hydrostatic Pressure Testing company located to the north west of Aberdeen – the Oil Capital of Europe. CSD are proud to have the largest purpose built NDT facility in the North East of Scotland. In our uniquely designed, 1344m² workshop facility, we have four bespoke Radiography exposure bays operating with the very latest safety systems provided by supplier NDT Electronics. Each of the four large exposure bays are equipped with the latest Gulmay X-Ray sets and Sentinel Gamma Ray exposure devices. Our Hydrostatic pressure testing facility offers 288m² of floor space with a maximum pressure rating of 15,000 psi and is controlled by our Project Engineer, with over 40 years' experience in pipeline pressure testing. The facility boasts an extensive range of lifting equipment with two ten tonne overhead cranes, both on remote control operation and immediate access to a fleet of mobile cranes with lifting capacity up to 130 tonne and forklift trucks from 3.5 to 18 tonne capacities. With a workforce of over 200 years' experience, the CSD management team have extensive knowledge of the market, our Level III Manager holding a BsC in Non-Destructive Testing. The team are fully supported by our multi-skilled operators, qualified in both the ISO 9712 PCN scheme and trained in house to SNT level II. CSD have a comprehensive training plan in place that will ensure all trainees and experienced technicians employed are provided with quality training and work experience, thus ensuring that the company can provide tried and tested, competent Non-destructive testing and Hydrostatic pressure testing services and technicians to the industry. CSD's principal goal is to become a market leader in the Non-Destructive Testing field, driving for continual improvement and process efficiency.
