The Office of Research and Graduate Studies (RGS) is in the Division of Academic Affairs. The mission of RGS is to offer students and faculty the opportunity to engage in outstanding graduate training, academic scholarship, and research. RGS oversees the Graduate Studies Committee (GSC), the Research and Grants Committee, the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), and the Standing Advisory Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects (SACPHS). Graduate StudiesThe Graduate Studies Office encompasses Graduate Studies and Graduate Evaluation. Graduate Studies is responsible for numerous programs that support graduate student success including: Graduate Student funding opportunities, events and CSU System-wide funding programs. Graduate Evaluations process and evaluate Applications for Degree Completion and review the formatting of master's theses, doctoral dissertations, and graduate projects via ETD (Electronic Thesis and Dissertation.
