Welcome to CSz Indianapolis! Our flagship show, ComedySportz, is the longest running show in Indianapolis.What exactly is ComedySportz?ComedySportz is competitive improv comedy, where groups of performers make up scenes, create songs, or play games on the spot based on audience suggestions. This isn't "Standup Comedy;" everything is unscripted, and no two matches are the same.What is a ComedySportz Match like?A ComedySportz match features two teams of players competing for laughs and points on the scoreboard in order to win the trophy. The match is officiated by a Referee who keeps the match moving, gets suggestions from the fans, and calls any fouls that may occur on the playing field.The usual match contains seven to ten games chosen from an assortment of over one hundred possible improv games. In "Changing Styles," players may find themselves improvising a scene with consistently varying emotions, as called by the Referee. You might see the players setting up elaborate rhymes in a rap battle for a game of "Da Doo Ron Rap." The options are nearly endless.Every match is unique, featuring different games, different Players, and different suggestions provided by the fans.FUNNYComedySportz is fast-paced improvisational comedy that's fun for everyone!
