Education Management - Waco, Texas, United States
CTAPP exists to transform Texas-based alternative certification programs. Created out of the need for more educators, CTAPP strives to change the narrative that we simply need more teachers; in fact, we need more excellent teachers to meet the needs of Texas school districts and their PK-12 student populations. By implementing high-quality, sustainable programming at scale, CTAPP believes that ACPs can attract, train, and retain more quality teacher candidates than ever before. Given that 55% of teachers in Texas complete alternative route certification, we see room for improvement in how novice teachers prepare for Day 1 in the classroom. Together with ACPs, we hope to implement instructional coaching and professional development models that prioritize frequent, high-impact touchpoints. CTAPP believes that a well-prepared teacher will persist in the profession longer than ill-prepared counterparts. Given the ever shifting demands placed on teachers - specifically, novice teachers - we believe that now, more than ever, there is a need for technical assistance to help improve alternative route certification pathways. The stakes are high for Texas's children, so join us and see what's possible for your program. Let's succeed. Together.
