The Connecticut Health Information Management Association (CtHIMA) represents health information professionals in Connecticut who are responsible for the management of patient health records in a variety of settings. Members are experts in health information management. Most members are active members of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and hold a variety of credentials. These credentials are issued by AHIMA based on examinations that tests one's experience, knowledge and education regarding health information.
