Cuesta Serena is a boutique lodge located on the slopes of Anta, 20 minutes away from Huaraz in the Callejon de Huaylas. Conceived originally as a country house for friends and family, the refuge has hosted guests from all around the world. You can feel the familiar touch in every brick, tile or wooden strip in the property.The Cuesta Serena refuge covers 323,000 sq ft of slopes and grass facing the "Cordillera Blanca". The plot is surrounded by Peru's most imposing peaks, including "El Huascaran", Peru's highest peak.The Main Maison (the hub of all activity in the shelter) faces the "Cordillera Blanca" and the Santa river. It houses a master bedroom, two double rooms and a common room with kitchen, fireplace and terrace: ideal to house a family or three couples. Always adorned with roses, the Suites are located on high terrain and house two suites with double beds and one suite with a queen bed. All the suites flaunt beautiful colonial architecture and a breathtaking view of the Andes.The bungalow, the first building of the complex and the founder's original shelter, houses a double bed, a kitchenette and two single beds in a small but cozy loft. The little ones won't want to sleep elsewhere. The Spa Suite houses up to 8 and includes a massage room, sauna and spanish shower.
